Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM), in partnership with ADGM Academy, hosted the World Finance and Banking Symposium (WFBS) from December 16th to 18th, bringing together influential figures from the global financial sector.
The opening session, held at ADGM Academy on December 16th, was marked by the presence of H.E. Shamis Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Second Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber Board of Directors, who was warmly welcomed by Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at ADSM. Their participation highlighted the significance of the Symposium as a platform for knowledge exchange and leadership in addressing pressing financial challenges.
Dr. Tayeb Kamali delivered a welcoming speech, followed by remarks from Professor Joao Vieito, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the World Finance and Banking Symposium, and Dr. Marc Poulin, President of ADSM. Peter Ware, Head of Research at ADGM Academy, gave an insightful speech that set the stage for the sessions that followed.
The Symposium continues on December 17th and 18th at ADSM Campus, featuring expert-led discussions, including contributions from Professor Thierry Foucault of HEC Paris. These sessions aim to inspire innovation and collaboration in the financial sector.
