The Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) proudly hosted the Dean’s Award – Thesis 1 Poster Presentation, celebrating the remarkable research achievements of its master’s students. Held at the ADSM campus, the event served as a platform to showcase innovative ideas and rigorous research across diverse disciplines, reflecting ADSM’s commitment to academic excellence and real-world impact.
The first-place award was presented to Husain Al Ahbabi for his insightful study, “A Research Study on the Factors that Make Emiratis Refrain from Pursuing a Career as Faculty Members in Government Higher Education Institutions.” Second place went to Salamah Alremeithi for her project, “Luxury Dates: An Innovation Business Model,” while Khudooma Saeed Alnuaimi secured third place with “Mechanical Forces Skin Injuries Classification Using Artificial Intelligence for Forensic Application.” Each winner demonstrated exceptional dedication and creativity, addressing key challenges in their respective fields.
A distinguished panel of judges, including Dr. Mahima Mishra, Dr. Marc Poulin, and Dr. McMillan C. Durugbo, evaluated the projects. On behalf of the judging panel, Dr. Marc Poulin, President of ADSM, remarked, “The quality of research presented today reflects the transformative power of education and the ability of our students to tackle critical issues with innovative solutions.”
Dr. Valerie Lindsay, ADSM Dean, also praised the participants, emphasizing the importance of events like this in fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and innovation. “Our students’ work exemplifies the dedication and creativity required to lead in today’s dynamic business environment,” she said. “ADSM remains committed to nurturing leaders who are equipped to drive meaningful change.”
