Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) is proud to announce its latest sustainability initiative, becoming the first educational institution to install a Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) on campus. This partnership with Tadweer (Center of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi) marks a significant step toward promoting environmental responsibility within the academic community. The machine allows users to recycle plastic bottles in exchange for rewards through Tadweer’s app.
Dr. Constance Van Horne, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at ADSM, expressed her excitement: “This is a fantastic addition to our campus that aligns perfectly with our sustainability goals. We are committed to embedding environmental awareness in our students’ learning experience, and this collaboration with Tadweer is a great step in that direction.”
The RVM is part of ADSM’s broader commitment to promoting sustainability through experiential learning. Students will have the opportunity to engage with the machine as part of the school’s curriculum and extracurricular activities, enhancing their understanding of sustainability and their role in building a greener future.
