Twenty ADSM students successfully completed a course entitled “Sustainable Competitive Advantage: Rethinking Value Creation” at the Imperial College London Business School

Twenty master students recently participated in the ADSM International Summer Program hosted by Imperial College Business School, London. The course – Sustainable Competitive Advantage: Rethinking Value Creation aimed at developing the vision of participants in the field of economic and competitiveness in the international markets; emphasizing the importance of creativity as an essential engine to build competitive advantage and achieve returns.

His Excellency Dr. Mubarak Hamad Mohammed Marzouq Al Ameri, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the ADSM, stressed the keenness of the Abu Dhabi School of Management to enhance cooperation with the best and strongest international universities to qualify its students in an optimal manner that qualifies them to compete in the labor market.

Professor Abdullah Abonamah, President of the School, said that the partnership with Imperial College London exemplifies the close cooperation between the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, and constitutes a model of vision that promotes excellence and cooperation in the field of higher education, scientific research and innovation. He stressed the interest of ADSM to organize external courses and focus on the practical side to take advantage of the successful models in the UK, as one of the best countries in providing the scientific and practical environment for postgraduate students.

At the end of the course, the students praised the importance and content of the course program. Asmaa Al Fahim received the Best Female Participation Award and Mohamed Mandani Al Awadhi received the Best Male Participation Award. These awards were based on the students’ active roles during the course and their participation in all activities. Talal Al-Yamahi, Fatima Saeed Al-Kindi, Jasem Al-Riyaisa and Rashed Hilal Khalaf Al Mazrouei were chosen for the Best Presentation Award for their presentation on Apple and its importance as a leading model in achieving sustainability and competitiveness in international markets.
