As part of ADSM Entrepreneurship Week and in parallel with the ADSM Book Fair, the Abu Dhabi School of Management proudly hosted the launch of “Entrepreneurship in the Creative Industries: Contemporary Perspectives from the Arabian Gulf and Asia”, edited by Professor Naveed Yasin and published by Routledge (March 2025).
The event brought together academics, industry professionals, and students eager to explore contemporary perspectives on entrepreneurship in the creative industries across the Arabian Gulf and Asia. Professor Naveed Yasin, who also serves as Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management and Director of the ADSM Management Incubator (ADMI), shared insights into the book’s development, emphasizing its role in advancing research and practice in creative entrepreneurship.
Attendees engaged in discussions on the evolving landscape of entrepreneurship, the impact of innovation, and the role of education in fostering entrepreneurial mindsets. Contributors Prof. Faten Zourob, Prof. Raihan Taqui Syed, and Prof Samar Noaman were recognized for their invaluable scholarly contributions to the book, further enriching the discourse on entrepreneurship in creative industries.
