The Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) celebrated academic excellence at the Dean’s and President’s Award Ceremony, recognizing outstanding student research across ADSM’s graduate programs. The event highlighted innovative projects that address real-world challenges with academic rigor and practical impact.
The Dean’s Award was presented to Sara Al Hammadi (MBA) for her research on The Dilemma of Hospital Understaffing and the Unemployment Rate in Healthcare. Her study explores workforce shortages in the healthcare sector and proposes strategies to enhance staffing efficiency and employment opportunities.
The President’s Award was awarded to Maya Milad Assaad (MSQBE) for her research on Patients’ Perception and Acceptance of AI-Chatbots for Disease Diagnosis Integration in the UAE Health Sector. Her work examines the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare and its impact on patient trust and adoption.
Dr. Valerie Lindsay, Acting Academic Dean, praised the winners, stating, “These projects exemplify ADSM’s commitment to developing future leaders who apply innovative thinking to complex industry challenges.”
A distinguished panel of judges reviewed the submissions, including Dr. Charles Tawk (Meirc Training and Consulting), Dr. Ahmed Shuhaiber (Zayed University), Dr. Hazim Jarrah (42 Abu Dhabi), and Dr. Naveed Yasin (ADSM). Their expertise ensured a rigorous selection process that recognized research with the highest impact.
Dr. Marc Poulin, Acting President of ADSM, reflected on the significance of the awards, stating, “Our students continue to push boundaries, and today’s winners have demonstrated exceptional leadership in their research fields.”
The ceremony concluded with an appreciation of the judges and a networking session, reinforcing ADSM’s dedication to academic excellence and industry relevance.
