During the Forbes Middle East Higher Education Awards 2019, the Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM), founded by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), was recognized among the best higher education institutions in the Middle East region and received the Innovation in Teaching and Learning award.
The award comes in recognition of ADSM’s distinctive delivery of continuously developed learning processes and exceptional academic programs according to the Forbes survey published in its May issue.
The Forbes Middle East Higher Education Awards were established this year to celebrate outstanding examples of best practice across a range of higher education activities. Awards were conferred in 22 categories based on votes from key stakeholders, including students, teachers and business people working alongside higher education organizations. The final judging criteria considered the institutions’ application of innovative approaches and support services, as well as their academic curriculum and credentials.
His Excellency Dr. Mubarak Hamad Mohamed Al Ameri, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ADSM, Dr. Yehya Al Marzooqi, Board Member and Professor Abdullah Abonamah, President and Provost of ADSM received the award on behalf of ADSM at the ceremony held in Dubai.
Speaking after the event, His Excellency Dr. Mubarak Hamad bin Marzouk Al Ameri commented that the support of the UAE wise leadership and its belief in the importance of education in achieving comprehensive development is the reason behind ADSM’s recognition among the best higher education institutions in the Middle East region.
Commenting on the award, Professor Abdullah Abonamah, President and Provost of ADSM, congratulated ADSM’s Board Members and ADCCI’s Board of Directors on this award and noted: “Being recognized by Forbes for Innovation in Teaching and Learning is an achievement confirming our approach in establishing a distinguished educational process and our commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity”.
