ADSM is proud to share the latest research publication by Prof. Deepanjana Varshney, Professor and Program Chair of the Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Development (MSLOD). Her study, titled “Exploring Followership Orientation in the New Normal: A Qualitative Study,” has been published in the Journal of Management Development by Emerald Publishing.
The research draws on Identity Theory and presents a thematic analysis based on semi-structured interviews with employees from UAE-based organizations. It explores the evolving nature of followership identity in the post-pandemic workplace, highlighting key themes and sub-themes that emerged as individuals reassessed their relationship with work, leadership, and performance.
