ADSM hosted a group of 20 students from the “Campus Abroad” Master’s program from the renown HEC Montreal University in Canada. Professor Johanne Brunet led the group with the support of the coordinator, Ms. Arielle Rakoto. Founded in 1907, HEC is the first graduate school established in Canada, ranked first MBA program in Canada and amongst the top 50 globally. The students visited the UAE for two weeks to learn about its economy, culture, and business environment. The President, Dr. Abdullah Abonamah, and the Academic Dean, Dr. Marc Poulin, presented ADSM and the state of academia in the UAE. Secondly, Mr. Aref Al Farra , the Economic Advisor to the Abu Dhabi Chamber, presented valuable insight on the Abu Dhabi and UAE Economy. ADSM and HEC are discussing an MOU to collaborate on faculty and student exchanges and research collaboration.
