Exploring the Timeless Values of Prophet Muhammad: A Thought-Provoking In-Class Activity in ADSM’s BScM Program

Exploring the Timeless Values

As part of the “History and Culture of the Arab World” course within the Bachelor of Science in Management (BScM) program, students at ADSM participated in a meaningful in-class activity to commemorate the birthdate of Prophet Muhammad. The session aimed to connect course learning outcomes with this significant event, offering students a chance to delve into the values and attributes of Prophet Muhammad and their lasting impact on Arab and Muslim identity.

Working in pairs, students prepared short presentations on themes such as integrity, honesty, and compassion, exploring how these values have influenced family life, community interactions, trade practices, and even the treatment of animals. The students’ presentations demonstrated a profound understanding of these values, emphasizing their enduring relevance in shaping societal norms and behaviors.

Dr. Zainab Rawshdeh, Assistant Professor of Management at ADSM, commended the students for their insightful reflections and thoughtful engagement in this important discussion. “This activity not only enriched the students’ learning experience but also deepened their appreciation of the profound influence of Prophet Muhammad’s values on our everyday lives,” she noted.

ADSM remains committed to fostering a deeper understanding of history and culture, connecting past lessons with present-day implications to inspire thoughtful leaders for the future.
