This past June 15-16, 2024, the Acting President of ADSM, Dr. Marc Poulin was invited by Dr. Xiong Hui, Chair Professor, Fellow of AAAS and IEEE and Associate Vice President (Knowledge Transfer) to participate as a VIP guest at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) INNOTECH 2024. The event was held at their futuristic campus in Nansha, Guangdong Province, at the heart of the Greater Bay Area (GBA), China.
INNOTECH 2024 featured an ADSM information booth, forums, workshops, and an innovation exhibition. Dr. Marc participated in many other activities, such investors’ dialogues, investment pitching, and technology showcases from HKUST and HKUST(GZ) startups and research projects.
There was also the opportunity to finalize areas of collaboration between HKUST (GZ) and ADSM under the themes of faculty and student exchange, joint research, learning trips and the possibility of technology transfer to the UAE.
