The Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM), a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, has signed a Partnership Agreement with the UK’s Imperial College Business School (ICBS), one of the world’s top ranked universities. The partnership was officially sealed during a signing ceremony held at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the presence of H.E. Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Prof. G. ‘Anand’ Anandalingam, Dean of Imperial College Business School; and Prof. Abdullah Abonamah, President of the Abu Dhabi School of Management.

Under the terms of the agreement, the signatories will jointly pursue teaching, research, and faculty and student exchange opportunities.

ICBS is included among the top one per cent of business schools worldwide to have been accredited by the three largest business school accreditation associations. It ranked third in Europe and 10th in the world in the 2013 World University Rankings. The partnership with ICBS will thus provide ADSM with access to some of the best business and entrepreneurship resources, practices and expertise currently available.

H.E. Al Muhairi said: “We are very excited about the numerous possibilities the partnership with Imperial College Business School opens up. ICBS’ global expertise combined with ADSM’s local knowledge will create a new generation of leaders capable of effectively addressing challenges and formulating innovative solutions amidst a rapidly evolving global business landscape.”

“Imperial College Business School is one of only 57 business schools in the world that have achieved triple accreditation from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the Association of MBAs, and the European Quality Improvement System. The information, knowledge and skills it will share will definitely be of great help in our school’s ability to fulfill its promise of world-class business and entrepreneurial education,” added Prof. Abonamah.

“Our institution and the Abu Dhabi School of Management have already launched several joint projects for the benefit of Abu Dhabi and the entire UAE. Our partnership will enable us to sharpen our focus on future ventures for the development and success of Emirati entrepreneurs. Imperial College Business School looks forward to the valuable local and regional business insights of ADSM and the high standards of entrepreneurship we can both set for Abu Dhabi and the entire country,” concluded Prof. Anandalingam.
